The Sony a7C is a compact and lightweight full-frame mirrorless camera body designed to deliver full-frame image quality in a form factor closer in size to APS-C mirrorless cameras, offered here in a silver finish. It is built around a 24.2-megapixel back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor paired with Sony’s BIONZ X image processor, delivering strong image quality and sensitivity across a broad ISO range. The camera incorporates 5-axis in-body optical image stabilization, providing effective compensation for camera shake across a range of focal lengths. Autofocus performance is handled by Sony’s Real-time Eye AF and subject tracking system, offering reliable acquisition for portraits and moving subjects. Video capabilities include 4K recording with a range of picture profile options including S-Log2 and S-Log3 for flexible post-production color grading. A fully articulating touchscreen LCD supports flexible framing for vlogging and self-shooting, while a compact electronic viewfinder is available for eye-level composition. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity enable wireless image transfer and remote control via Sony’s companion app. Compatible with Sony’s broad FE mount lens ecosystem, it provides access to a wide range of native and adapted lenses.
