A Completely Reimagined Ball Head (Patent Pending)The Chronicle features a groundbreaking ball head like no other. For cameras, it utilizes a ProMaster Dovetail (Arca-type) quick release. For smartphones, it transforms into a sturdy clamp in seconds. Switching between camera and phone mode is incredibly simple: just a half-turn of the conversion knob reveals the phone icon, allowing you to unfold the integrated phone clamp. To return to camera mode, reverse the process by folding the clamp and turning the knob back to the camera icon. The best part? There are no external accessories to lose or special tools required; it’s all built in. The ball head itself is a joy to use. It features a main knob for precise ball tension control and a separate knob for smooth panning. Unlike most ball heads with a single “U” notch for vertical orientation, the Chronicle provides two “U” notches for enhanced control. This unit easily lifts out to form a comfortable, round handheld stabilizer. Open the Flexor’s legs, and it instantly becomes a tabletop or ground-level tripod! But the versatility doesn’t stop there. Detach one of the tripod’s legs to create a traditional monopod by installing the upper portion of the Flexor (with the ball head still attached) to the top of the leg. Unscrew the standard rubber foot from the monopod leg and install the Flexor’s bottom section, and you now have a monopod with a sturdy 3-leg base! This base features a built-in ball joint for smooth panning and tilting, as well as a locking collar on the ball joint for panning movements without tilt. Just like the innovative ball head, the Flexor requires no outside accessories or special tools for any of its transformations. The included Dovetail (Arca-type) quick release plate is designed with soft, textured silicone across its entire top surface, creating an anti-twist connection. It also includes a strap loop for compatibility with various hand and neck straps.
