This is recycled PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) material mainly coming from plastic bottles. To ensure they are made from authentic rPET, we only purchase audited materials certified by GRS (Global Recycled Standard). This particular item is made from 3 plastic bottles. Care: Eco Chic bags are safe to machine wash at low temperatures without damaging the fabric. Plastic-based fabrics however, may release plastic microfibres into the water when washed; to minimize this we recommend washing your bags only when necessary, and to hand wash if possible.
